Current easterly high-pressure dominated weather and warm, dry weather conditions are forecast to gradually give way to westerly High-pressure conditions which are expected remain in place over the weekend.
Over the next few days and this May Bank Holiday weekend, members of the public are encouraged to exercise caution and to take all necessary measures to prevent the occurrence of wildfires.
While visiting National Parks, Nature Reserves or other recreational areas, be considerate in parking vehicles so as not to impede access by emergency vehicles.
Please report any uncontrolled or unattended fires immediately to the fire service by dialling 999 or 112.
